Did you know that only about 1/6 of NJ schools who are required to teach financial literacy to students report teaching personal finance related skills?
Bill Spadea, host of the Morning Drive Show on NJ 101.5 and Chasing News, which airs weeknights on Fox Television in New York and Philly will be tackling the issue of financial literacy education in our schools and communities as the guest speaker at DoughMain Financial Literacy Foundation’s Annual Fundraising Dinner.
Whether at school or in the home, 95% of U.S. youth are not receiving the instruction they need to make healthy financial decisions or understand the basic tenets of being financially literate. DoughMain Financial Literacy Foundation Inc. (DMFLF) a 501 c3 is working to close the financial literacy gap in our country and build stronger, financially literate communities.
All proceeds to support DoughMain Financial Literacy Foundation and implementation of The FitKit Youth Financial Literacy HS Program in local schools.
